The annual wine fair in Pollensa is held in the beautiful cloisters of the ancient Santo Domingo Convent that transform into the best display of wine products of the Balearics and the broadest variety of wine tasting.
Approximately 4,000 people visit the fair every year with around 600-700 professionals come to taste and sample the products of about 30 to 40 bodegas and cellars. In fact, it is so successful that it now attracts wine producers from all over the Balearic Islands and is sometimes called the Balearic Wine Fair!
The objective of the fair is to promote local Mallorcan and Balearic to the wider public. So if you appreciate a good glass of wine and would like to learn more about local wines, this is a great opportunity to do so.
Pollensa itself is a picturesque, historic town with plenty of nice bars and restaurants as well as famous attractions like the Calvary steps.
